About the role:
This important role leads the operational management of the Nannup Therapeutic Community (TC) facility and the services that operate from this site. This involves leadership of a team of approximately 20 staff, and responsibility for the effective management of the facility and service.
The position reports to the General Manager, Residential and Withdrawal Services, and is part of the Cyrenian House leadership team, and will contribute to the ongoing development of our organisation.
The role is full-time at the Nannup Therapeutic Community facility located in a beautiful rural setting near Nannup in the Southwest of Western Australia.
Salary range:
$138,543 -$158,630 per annum without vehicle (depending on experience).
$129,077-$146,699 with vehicle (depending on experience).
The position leads the provision of the following services that operate at the Nannup TC facility:
1. Nannup Therapeutic Community – Kongal Wirin Program
The Kongal Wirin program is a 20-bed long-term alcohol and other drug residential treatment program utilising the Therapeutic Community model of treatment.
2. Nannup Withdrawal Unit (NWU)
The NWU is a three-bed low-medical residential withdrawal unit. Consumers accessing this service often continue onto the Kongal Wirin Program after completing their withdrawal at the NWU.
To be appointed / successful in this role, you will require the following key qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in social and behavioural sciences.
- Experience in the leadership and management of health and/or community service(s).
- Clinical experience providing alcohol and other drug treatment services directly to consumers.
- Understanding of the Therapeutic Community Model, and the ability and commitment to lead a service using this treatment model.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a senior management team in accordance with a whole of organisation approach.
- Ability to think strategically and lead change management and service development processes.
- A sound knowledge of alcohol and other drug evidence and theory, mental health conditions, and related issues.
- Ability to work well with Aboriginal residents and staff, including an understanding of working within a culturally secure framework.
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills.

About the Role:
The Clinical Coordinator’s role is to ensure the effective running of the Therapeutic Community (TC) program within a residential setting. Working in collaboration with the Manager, you will deliver evidence based, best practice residential treatment services to the residents of the program whilst meeting outcomes and funding performance indicators.
The Clinical Coordinator is required to work in the context of a TC, facilitating Community as Method (CAM) treatment approach and providing leadership and support to the team.
About the Program:
MMTC is a 20-adult bed female only program (including the staffing team) where residents have the opportunity to bring their children into treatment. The program focusses on alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment and Family and Domestic Violence (FDV) issues as well as co-occurring mental health concerns, parenting support and mitigating women returning to homelessness.
The position will be located at Munda Mia Therapeutic Community located in Kalamunda.
Due to the nature of this role, in accordance with the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, division 5 section 27 this position is to be occupied by females only
Level 6/7 $115,053 – $125,889 per annum pro rata (depending on experience)
To be appointed / successful in this role, you will require the following key qualifications, skills, and experience:
- A degree in social, behavioural, or health sciences.

We are seeking an energetic, passionate, and highly committed individual to be part of our team at Midland Withdrawal Intervention Centre, within the role of Residential Supervisor.
About the role:
The Residential Supervisor will work with the MWIC team to provide a safe environment for all MWIC Residents. They will maintain a supportive presence within the unit and be available to respond appropriately to immediate concerns. The Centre provides low medical withdrawal service and associated support services, including assertive follow-up, family support, and comprehensive care and discharge planning services. The service works closely with Midland Hospital and other services to provide a responsive and flexible service to the community.
The position will be located at our Midland Withdrawal and Intervention Centre (MWIC).
Level 2 $39.14 -$40.62 per hour (depending on experience), plus penalty rates and sleep shift allowance.
To be appointed / successful in this role, you will require the following key qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Demonstrated capacity to work responsibly and at times independently in accordance with Cyrenian House policy and procedures
- Two-year minimum sobriety/clean time

The role of Diploma Qualified Room Leader will promote and support the holistic wellbeing and development inclusive of all children. All key responsibilities are based on the National Law and Regulations, the Principles, Practices and Outcomes detailed in the EYLF, and the NQF Quality Areas, Standards and Elements. You are expected to have a working knowledge of these documents, which should underpin their pedagogy and, together with the Centre philosophy, directly reflect their relationships with children, families and co-educators. The Room Leader will supervise Early Childhood Educators in the room.

We are seeking an energetic, passionate, and highly committed individual to be part of our team at Midland Withdrawal Intervention Centre, within the role of Residential Supervisor.
About the role:
The Residential Supervisor will work with the MWIC team to provide a safe environment for all MWIC Residents. They will maintain a supportive presence within the unit and be available to respond appropriately to immediate concerns. The Centre provides low medical withdrawal service and associated support services, including assertive follow-up, family support, and comprehensive care and discharge planning services. The service works closely with Midland Hospital and other services to provide a responsive and flexible service to the community.
The position will be located at our Midland Withdrawal and Intervention Centre (MWIC).
Level 2 $39.14 -$40.62 per hour (depending on experience), plus penalty rates and sleep shift allowance.
To be appointed / successful in this role, you will require the following key qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Demonstrated capacity to work responsibly and at times independently in accordance with Cyrenian House policy and procedures
- Two-year minimum sobriety/clean time
- An experiential knowledge of drug and alcohol addiction
- Demonstrated capacity to maintain a secure environment.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to assert oneself effectively and maintain clear, personal boundaries.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of people from diverse backgrounds
- Full work rights, current National Police Certificate, First Aid Certificate, full Driver’s License.
Desirable:
- A working understanding of the 12- philosophy.
