Does someone in your family or does your loved one have an issue with their drugs or alcohol use. This can cause an immense amount of stress and conflict. It’s completely normal to feel helpless, frustrated, worried and upset.
Your family member or loved one may be acting very erratically – maybe they’re becoming aggressive, angry and violent, or withdrawn and detached, or both at different times. You might not know how to act around them, or how they’re going to behave when you see or talk to them. Their drug use might be affecting your whole family.
We can help!
Cyrenian House runs a family support group facilitated by our experienced family counsellors. Attending this group will provide you the opportunity to meet other family members who may be in a similar situation and to receive the support you need to help you get through this difficult time. You will get to talk about what is happening for you whilst also learning new skills in how to best support yourself and your loved one.
WHEN: 5.15pm – 6.45pm on Mondays
